100 monedas de 100
Public performance carried out during SELAI (Independent Latin-American Art Week) in 2005.
The Latin-American map was stamped on 100 coins of 100 Chilean pesos (currency of Chile), thereby taking each piece an artistic mark. These coins were used to pay my quotidian life during this week (SELAI), in Valparaíso. Is like this, as each coin was introduced on the monetary flux of the capitalist system that produce a continuous movement of these “pieces of art”. Each coin was photographed on the spot during the paying action.
