[Group show//29th November 2024 – //4th January 2025//rosalux project space//Berlin, Germany ]RECLAIM REALITY is a group exhibition and a prospective get-together, following on from the first Salon Kuiperdomingos Projects, held at the same venue in 2011. Back then, 52 artists covered the walls of the art space to celebrate the idea of the network. The upcoming edition will bring together more than 70 artists from Berlin, Amsterdam and beyond, to promote the building of new realities based on artistic visions and the importance of meeting and exhibiting art in the flesh. [Residency program//July – August 2024//galerie PLUTO// Bonn, Germany]galerie PLUTO is pleased to welcome Gonzalo Reyes Araos for a summer 2024 residency. Time spent in research and development will allow Araos to create a new project, I remember correctly you are you and the rest is history posing a central question: “Is the reality we perceive a form of pareidolia?” Seeing shapes in cloud patterns is an example of pareidolia. The phenomenon is the human ability to find meaning in an ambiguous stimulus. This perceptual ability allows one to imagine an object or pattern where there is none.

These forces may not be directly related to current needs but constantly influence our reality and permeate our thinking.
