DAWN EYE – ZOOM is an video installation displaying the sky of sunrises of different points of the world happening in real time. Those images are broadcasted by live-stream webcams located in several countries of the world. These cameras pointing to the sky are extremely zoomed; as a kind of “macro-microscopes,” they reveal pixels and glitches highlighting the digital nature of the Internet when they broadcast natural phenomena.

The projection is displayed over a wood structure alluding to outer space communications aerials.

This installation was presented at FOREIGN SKY, a solo show hosted by NON BERLIN.
