As part of the sixth edition of TINTA, Feria de Arte Impreso, we invite you to the presentation of Cielos Forasteros, the first monograph that brings together and systematizes twelve years of transdisciplinary artistic research by Gonzalo Reyes Araos in the field of visual arts.

Marked by migratory experiences, the artist’s work explores identity and the ways in which digital and technological media have redefined our social bonds and our relationship with natural phenomena. The volume traces a fluid transition from analog languages to digital processes through painting, photography, conceptual objects, and light installations. It is complemented by critical essays by American art historian Julianne Cordray—focusing on the materiality of distance—and Chilean curator and researcher Samuel Toro Contreras, who contextualizes the work within the philosophy of technology and algorithmic narratives of expanded perception.

Published in a bilingual edition (Spanish/English) with funding from the National Fund for Cultural Development and the Arts (FONDART, 2025 Call), the presentation will be followed by a collaborative discussion.
